Taking Jeggings To Work

I had a breakfast meeting earlier and as usual, I was in a rush to get to it. First thing I was able to grab was my dark blue jeggings. Since I didn’t have the luxury of time to dig for another “bottom” I built my outfit around it taking into consideration how conservative the office gets when it comes to attire.

This striped top had an open back so I wore a black bandeau under it and tamed the “flare” by tying it to make a “slimmer” silhouette.

I completed the look with a white blazer and a black strappy heels.

Seeing Pink

Off to the mall and we both decided to wear PINK.

On me: White basic tee, [Reina’s] Roxy skirt, [Richfel’s] Topshop tote and Schu strappy flats

On Richfel: Brown basic tee, Gap tutu skirt, [my] Jimmy bag & Gap ballet flats

All bangled-up!

I accented my look with pastel-colored beads and Richfel went for the gold ones.

Craving for Colors

I’ve always followed the rule of sticking to 3 colors tops in an outfit. Two of those are usually of neutral shades. I woke up one fine morning, went through my closet (and my sister’s too… *shush*) and felt that the usual just won’t hack it for the day. It was time to experiment.

I decided to match my black slacks with a turquoise top (I love living with my sister! ) and accented it with an orange bucket bag. I added chunky bangles in orange and black, all with floral details, and a vintage-inspired necklace. Went through the accessories and found this fab ring that matched the top and the details on the orange bangle (If I’m not mistaken, one of my fashionista friends, Chardee, left it when he was visiting eons ago…♥) and completed my outfit with a pair of gladiator booties.

Hoodies From The Block

T’was like Christmas morning when we got this humongous box from Reina today. These cool hoodies and neon slippers caught our eyes instantly.  Richfel and I promptly tried them on and took some pics. By the looks of it, they weren’t for us. *wink wink*
