Craving for Colors

I’ve always followed the rule of sticking to 3 colors tops in an outfit. Two of those are usually of neutral shades. I woke up one fine morning, went through my closet (and my sister’s too… *shush*) and felt that the usual just won’t hack it for the day. It was time to experiment.

I decided to match my black slacks with a turquoise top (I love living with my sister! ) and accented it with an orange bucket bag. I added chunky bangles in orange and black, all with floral details, and a vintage-inspired necklace. Went through the accessories and found this fab ring that matched the top and the details on the orange bangle (If I’m not mistaken, one of my fashionista friends, Chardee, left it when he was visiting eons ago…♥) and completed my outfit with a pair of gladiator booties.

Attended a kiddie party today, and this is what I wore. I very seldom close button downs up to the topmost button but tried it out anyway. It looked nice, so I went with it, and left without accessories but my usual pearl earrings, watch, and rings.

Drooling over these and I’ve been trying to learn that smile/smirk. After a year or so, I still don’t get it, so I’m staying with my grin! :)) Also, I love how my sisters wrist-stack. I do a lot of blings while dressing up, and loving myself on the mirror, but deciding against it just before I leave home. That’s just me and my comfort level.
